Backyard Wedding Celebration with Vicki and Randy

Congrats to the newly weds, Vicki and Randy. They were married earlier this month here in Greensboro in their backyard located in the Starmount neighborhood. We were going to have a full wedding ceremony and reception at the beautiful O'Henry Hotel, but due to the current Covid-19 situation we created a plan B and went perfectly to plan that afternoon.

Vicki and I have known each other for almost ten years as business referral partners and heard from her a few months back about the engagement and wedding planning process. I was so happy to hear about that and had the opportunity to meet Randy a few weeks before the big day to hang out and chat about the logistics and planning process. Their backyard micro wedding included Vicki's parents, who are both in their nineties, as well as their close couple friends, Mary and Pete.

The newly weds were in for a big surprise right after the ceremony concluded. All of their local friends in Greensboro that were going to attend the reception were able to orchestrate a celebration drive by. The expressions from Vicki and Randy were priceless and I was so glad I could be there to photograph their special day. We then had an intimate cake cut and champagne toast before heading to the Greensboro Arboretum Park for some fun casual portraits.

I can't wait to share the rest of the images with Vicki and Randy in a few short weeks.
