Celebrating life at 6286 ft. above sea level

When I am not taking photographs on the weekends, one of my favorite things to do is throw fifty lbs. of gear on my back and hit the trails. Backpacking is such an awesome activity that my wife Erin and I share. This blog post speaks to our recent trip to Roan Mountain, Tennessee. We had the most incredible views and sunset that evening, along with some cool time lapse videos we captured and shown below.

This particular trail is about a 3 mile hike from the parking lot and brings you to the top with 180 degree views and we could see for miles that day. This trail is certainly on our list of repeat adventures !
