Drew and Julie are getting married this June

One of the things I enjoy most as a Greensboro photographer is the opportunity to meet great people from our community and beyond. This particular engagement session stood out from last year which was captured in the heart of Downtown Greensboro.

Drew is an accomplished lawyer and businessman here in town and is marrying a wonderful lady, Julie, as they have known each other for over 40 years from their hometown of Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Julie is an incredible pediatrician and had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session last fall when Julie was in town and preparing for their wedding celebration this coming June.

I have known Drew for well over a decade, capturing a lot of his business photography through the years. He gave me a call last summer to book my studio for their big wedding celebration in June of 2026.

Drew and Julie originally knew each other at only a few years old, went to grade school together and began life on their own terms. Love has a way of finding people in all stages of life and this is a perfect example of that.

They both wanted a cool downtown vibe for the engagement session and with having my studio on S Elm St it was a perfect fit. We started on S Elm and walked North to the courthouse area, continued on to a private roof top terrace to incorporate some interesting angles and concluded down by The Carolina Theatre.

I am excited to work with this power couple and happy for them!
