Timeless Elegance at Greensboro's First Presbyterian Church and The O'Henry Hotel

Congratulations to the bride and groom!  Alex and Seth were married this October of 2025 here in Greensboro, NC.  It was a pleasure capturing their special day and a lot of fun getting to know them.  I have put this highlight blog article together to share some of my favorite images so far in the post production process.  Please enjoy...

This intimate Greensboro wedding was a stunning blend of elegance and heartfelt celebration.  Set against the beauty of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greensboro and the refined charm of The O'Henry Hotel.  These are two of my favorite venues here in town and both photograph so well with amazing architecture at the church and beautiful natural light in the reception room.

The church's historic charm and soft lighting coming through the stain glass created a timeless atmosphere for the bride and groom to say I DO.

After the ceremony, we took our time to create some beautiful portraits for Alex and Seth as this was high on their photo request list.  We started at the alter, then proceeded to the massive door way to the church and continued down the double staircase to their vintage getaway car.

Once we arrived to the hotel, the guests were escorted into the reception room which gave us access to the courtyard and captured some additional images in this unique space while we had just a little bit of daylight left.

The O'Henry Hotel  is one Greensboro's most elegant and welcoming venues.  It was originally built in 1919 just down the street and then was relocated and built out in the late 90's.

When we entered the reception room, the floral design caught my eye and was one of the best installations I have seen in a long time.  It was curated by Randy McManus Designs, a very well known floral company here in the Triad.  The bride and groom entered the room and began an orchestrated first dance and then enjoyed a wonderful meal and heartfelt toasts from family and friends.

Everything about the day felt refined yet relaxed, a true reflection of the couple's personality and style.  We continued on with the festivities, a cake cut and a mock departure for the bride and groom.  They were staying at the hotel that night, so we snuck away for a few minutes to capture some final images of them in the lobby and out front of the hotel.

Micciche Photography has served the Triad and beyond since 2004.
