Mazel Tov to Maddie: Celebrating her Bat-Mitzvah!

Maddie celebrated her Bat-Mitzvah this past May here in Greensboro. We have worked with The Strasser family for a few years now and love capturing their most important family events. This highlight reel is created to enjoy while we put the final touches on their event and look forward to sharing close to 400 amazing images with them soon.

We create these fun highlight blog articles for all our big special event clients and is an added value we apply to the service.

Micciche Photography has been the premier photo studio for the Triad since 2004 and have worked closely with Temple Emanuel and Starmount Forest Country Club for over 15 years and always appreciate the referrals and partnership.

We met the family at the Temple the Thursday before the weekend events to capture the rehearsal process with the two Rabbis and the immediate family. This gave us ample time to create some important images of Maddie rehearsing her part of the Torah reading at the bimah, capturing other candid type images and some formal family photos too.

The Saturday night reception was held at the beautiful Starmount Forest Country Club here in Greensboro. We love working with this venue and the attentive staff. The theme for the party was "VIP" and it was a blast!

The event planner put together a perfectly executed party for the adults and the kids to have a great time. We captured about an hour of immediate and extended family photos at the very beginning of the evening to make sure it was all captured in advance. My assistant photographer was then on point for some red carpet portraits as guests arrived and we then both photographed the adult cocktail hour and the kids having fun in the VIP room and ballroom area where the DJ was there to play games and keep everyone moving.

The main entrance for Maddie and her family was perfect and we captured all types of fun special event photos for the family and their friends. We have photographed bar and bat mitzvah events for a long time and know the flow, but always make a point of asking the family if they would like any specific images of friends and groups of friends as the party continues on. That way we are certain those important images are captured to enjoy.

The plethora of food stations were opened up for the guests after the grand entrance and we then began the traditional horah dance in the center of the dance floor to celebrate Maddie and her family.

The DJ and hype crew turned it up and the party rocked on til 11pm. There were some additional fun games thrown in the mix which included an epic session of musical chairs which was fair game for the kids and a few adults to join in. It was hilarious to photograph that portion of the night :)
